Having just gotten promoted to this division, and being the underdogs of the championship, the team’s effort came close to victory in their first two matches against Sri Lanka and Chinese Taipei, but unfortunately fell short to clinch a win from all 3 matches.
With the loses, Singapore will face relegation in 2016 to Division 1, and possibly with South Korea, Thailand and Philippines.
Congratulations to Hong Kong for winning the championship and to qualify for the 2016 World Rugby U20 Trophy.
