The World Rugby L1 First Aid in Rugby Course is designed for all individuals involved in contact sports like rugby. Whether you are a parent, coach, player, team manager, referee or healthcare professional. This course is designed as a basic course to provide individuals with the basic skills to deal with injuries and emergencies on the field during training or matches until trained medical help arrives.

Group of 18 participants, made up of coaches, parents, physios, sports trainers, teachers and players took part in the WR L1 FAIR course this weekend.


Teaching CPR + AED. Participants in the course are also certified in CPR+AED, recognised by the National Resuscitation Council of Singapore.

The courses are taught by World Rugby trained Medical Educators who are certified healthcare professionals actively working with rugby pitch side. They speak from experience, addressing the questions and concerns of participants.

A combination of online prep-work, group discussions and practical sessions are used to ensure participants gain the knowledge and skills necessary.

Participants are all involved to have hands-on practice of the skills and to support and encourage one another, working together as a team.
