Singapore Rugby Union is recruiting Match Day Commissioners (MDC) for the SRU National League 2017/2018.

ROLE: MDCs will be tasked to; 

Manage Premiership & Championship matches (liase with team managers on match protocols) 
Synchronize timings
Manage sub-control with 4thMatch official & Complete Match data sheet (Technical zone management)
Submit completed match sheet and reports (post-match) 

The Singapore Rugby Union (SRU) has named the Women’s squad that will travel to Korea for the first leg of the Asia Rugby Women’s Sevens Series (ARWSS) 2017 on 23-24th September 2017. Building on their success at the 29th South East Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, the team is aiming for a top six position building on their current ranking as 5th in Asia.

The Singapore Men’s 15 a side program kicked off last November with regular training sessions during the club season in preparation for the team’s participation in the Asian Rugby Championships Division 2. The tournament was originally scheduled for a May window, but has since shifted to 15th and 19th November in Chinese Taipei against India, Thailand and the home country.

Singapore Rugby Union (SRU) conducted the Standard First Aid (SFA) with CPR & AED + First Aid In Rugby (FAIR) course on 4-6th September 2017. This is the first time that the level 1 FAIR medical course is put together with the SFA.
